Adjustable Backpack Shield Straps

Description

Includes a set of 2 buckles and approx. 6′ of webbing.  Great addition if you are making your own shield and wish to include backpack straps.  Or, if you need to extend your pre-existing shield with backpack straps.

HOW TO ADD ADJUSTABLE BACKPACK SHIELD STRAPS TO A PRE-PURCHASED SHIELD:

1. Cut the existing straps that are attached to the shield approx. 2-3″ away from shield back. Better to give yourself some extra room incase you need to cut again and redo.
2. Overlay approx 1/2″ of the smaller strap to the freshly cut strap on the back of the shield. Use a flat iron heated to over 350 degrees and seer these two straps together. Hold for approx. 1-2 minutes.
3. Repeat for the other one and attach the buckles to the smaller straps.
4. Use the same technique and seer the longer straps to the other side of the freshly cut strap on the shield back.
